What do you like about your job and the company?

On a challenging and difficult project, you will know that each day will be different. New topic, new challenge, new learning, ... That keeps me motivated ! And to go further, what about having a solid team spirit and network!! Alone you can go fast, but together we will go far further !

Greatest achievements

At the end of December 2021, I was selected to participate in the Talent Group Edition 2022: this consisted in working on a defined topic with a group 6 people for 6 months, ending up into a presentation in front of Alstom top management. I met amazing co-team members and it was an exciting journey which ran during these 6 months. We didn't win the challenge, but we were very close to it!

Nowadays, we live in an environment that is constantly changing and we have to adapt ourselves to live in uncertainty. My main advice, is that you should not be afraid to accept challenges. Impostor syndrome and the fear of change often does not allow us to express our maximum potential and often keeps us from develop professionally as much as we would like. As we say in Spain, "you have to take the bull by the horns" to be able to move forward and be happy.

Network. Everyone talks about networking, but it truly is a life hack. After University grades are gone, you'll still be reviewed once a year or so, but the amount of written feedback is much more limited. Building a strong network is now your new good grades and it will strongly dictate your future career opportunities. Also remember that networking is not only for those in positions above you, so be nice to everyone. Buy in. Buy in to the culture, to the social and to the company. Show an interest and ask questions. This will make your worklife become more enjoyable and also help you with your networking, especially with those in positions above you as they are more bound to company values and culture.

I've found that when I've been scared to stand out my opportunities become limited. When I've taken the leap I've gained wonderful experiences such as awards, black-tie dinners and opportunities to speak at events.
