Communication involves a lot of things and is probably one of the most difficult topics in the world.

There is a great deal of interesting literature on the subject.

Basically, we endeavour to express ourselves in simple and clear sentences. However, communication is very personal, so it makes a big difference where we come from. There are countries that don't say 'no' directly, they tend to describe it as 'maybe'. And we should be clearer about that.

Thank you, both of you, for your answers! At a former job I got any help I needed in the house, as well in office as on working floors. However across country boarders, all I got was what was in our databases. My hope is that, at Alstom, people also help each other across country boarders, with some info digging!
