From studying Psychology to develop my career in Talent Acquisition.
Since I've finished my studies, I decided to focus my career on people management. My main motivation is to help people find a job that fullfils all your necesities and motivations. I've worked more than eight years in recruitment and talent acquisition in engineering companies. My experience in Alstom has been very fulfilling and has made me able to know more about the railway sector.
I'm a Talent Acquisition Specialist in Alstom
In my position, I support the organization with complex staffing projects, using various sourcing channels, manage requitment projects acquiring a thorough technical understanding of job positions and identify and implement relevant sourcing strategies based upon the job position.
Also I help the manager make decissions about the recruitment processes based on the candidates, the sector, the market situation, etc.
Participating in multidisciplinary projects
The good thing about Alstom as a company is that it allows you to participate in many projects with people from other countries, in other positions, etc.
On a professional level, this has been very challenging but also very fullfilling since, being able to know other people's perspectives regarding your work or other areas within the company, allows you to grow professionally and personally. I can't wait to keep working in this kind of projects!
Do not be afraid of facing new challenges
Nowadays, we live in an environment that is constantly changing and we have to adapt ourselves to live in uncertainty. My main advice, is that you should not be afraid to accept challenges. Impostor syndrome and the fear of change often does not allow us to express our maximum potential and often keeps us from develop professionally as much as we would like. As we say in Spain, "you have to take the bull by the horns" to be able to move forward and be happy.
The development of Alstom Talent Energy, our intenship program.
I have participated in the development of our Alstom Talent Energy internship program. Within this, I have been able to manage the recruitment of all the internships. Also, I have implemented a new continuous assesment system that allow us to track their progress at a competency level. In addition, we have monitored its evaluation to introduce improvements in coming years.
