Your knowledge and your skills are not only what you learnt at school or your previous job, but it is the mix all the experiences you've had. Therefore be curious on the world around you, and catch what helps you to grow and develop as real person. Be honest and show how you really are, and prompt and flexible adapting to the situation, but also staying tuned on your values.

Alstom's internal learning videos and courses are a good way to get an overview of a new topic, process or even a new language. In addition, a lot of new things are learned from experiences of other colleagues and during your own work - learning by doing! Try to pick up what is going on besides your own scope, exchange ideas during during a meeting or lunch time and ask questions. So, see you in the cantine?

Stepping out of your comfort zone is crucial for personal and professional growth. For me, moving from France to Romania was a transformative experience that expanded my horizons and enhanced my adaptability. It taught me to navigate new environments and cultures, enriching my perspective. Similarly, transitioning from Human Resources to procurement allowed me to develop new skills and insights. This shift has enabled me to understand business processes more deeply and contribute more significantly to my organization. Embracing these changes has ultimately empowered me to take on challenges and seize opportunities that I might have previously overlooked.
