How does Alstom support colleagues that are parents of young children? For example, what's it like for colleagues that needed to fetch their young children from preschool? What does a work schedule look like?

Thank you for your insightful question! It is a bit challenging to provide a generalised answer, as it largely depends on the specific workplace, country, team, and individual roles. However, I can share that we strive to support our colleagues in achieving a healthy work-life balance whenever possible. This includes options such as remote work, flexible hours, and a focus on output rather than input. However, it can be complex to implement these solutions for employees working in shifts or in production. But then again... for some individuals, those shift schedules may align perfectly with their personal lives. Therefore, it truly varies by situation and the needs of the individual but I sense that we find a good work-life balance important at Alstom! I hope this addresses your question!

Good day - I would say that Alstom is very flexible on work-life balance. If you have personal emergency, you're always able to address is in Alstom As Tara wrote in another post, you can work from home, have flexible time. Alstom focus on result, not on the way to reach it. All this applies more for desk employees (white collar). Related to Blue collars (working on the line), flexibility exists also but must be properly managed.
