It depends on the situation, but if I could make a list of what I value most it would like this:
- When you can keep the calm during a stressful situation, so you can think of the best options to take.
- When you help a colleague without being asked, that's a key indicator that represents the commitment of an employee in the team.
- When you are proactive in proposing ideas not only during the project definition but after the project has been delivered. That really impacts in the customer vision of the team.
- When you mentor a new colleague of the team, shows that you onboard in the department and happy with the business growth.
- When you never stop learning. Continuous training and being aware of new technologies is really important to detect new opportunities and to improve the quality of the products.
As you can see, most of the things that I value most are behavioural, not technical, because technical knowledge can be gained, but the behaviour in many times comes naturally.
