What's the hardest part of your role?

The hardest part of my role is probably allowing myself to make mistakes or to understand that I don't know everything. At my level I'm constantly learning and everyone is very allowing of this. I just need to be more forgiving myself.

In my opinion the hardest part of my role is managing the team and requirements to reach our QTC (quality, time and cost) objectives in a project development. You have to have in mind all the tasks that have to be done and be able to analyze the effort needed to complete them. You also must have in mind all the customer requirements and be very aware that a project developed for railway rolling stock has to comply with lots of regulations, both local and European. Furthermore, it's very important to know your team, every strong and weak point of it, who is the best person for each task, that's key to have the team motivated and make the progress goes smooth.
