Innovation Director
Hello Yves,
Thanks for your nice question.
You fully understand that RAMS culture is at the heart of nearly everything we do at Alstom. Our customers expect our rail systems to be safe, reliable and easy to maintain. I am using the word "culture" because any step in the lifescycle of a product, from the early steps of the development until its maintenance in operational conditions requires to be driven by RAMS objectives.
Working to increase the resilience of the rail system is one of the key priorities of Alstom Innovation strategy. A number of innovation programs are focused on improving the reliability through complexity reduction or increasing availability thanks to a better use of the data available in the system to predict failures or strengthen the degraded modes management and maintain service despite partial failures.
This cultural approach of RAMS creates collaboration. We have experts in this particular domain bu our ambitions can only be achieved thanks to the dedicated involvement of all parties in the company.
Kind Regards,
Pierre
