Digital Asset Manager

In my experience. There are plenty of opportunities in Alstom to grow. Of course you'll need to be aware of the different opportunities, have the initiative to take them and keep studying and learning! Sometimes you need to get out of your comfort zone and that's very difficult.

In my case, I started as junior maintenance engineer for TGV fleets in Spain, I have the chance to accept to be in charge of some validation test that were needed to be done in France. When the tests finished, I returned to Spain as the person in charge of the maintenance of these systems. After few years, there was the chance to implement a monitoring system in the different fleets we had here in the region, so I also accepted the challenge and the system was deployed, in the meantime, I studied a master degree for data analytics and BI, to make the most of the data that was coming from the train. When the deployment of the system finished I was put in charge of a new department of fleet monitoring. During my time in this position, I started to develop new systems in parallel to extract more data from the trains, deploy new sensors, etc. This new system was very useful for the company since a new horizon of data was put in place, thanks to these developments, I was promoted to Digital Asset Manager, which the position I'm currenly performing.

So my advice, take all the chances you have, don't be afraid to move and accept new challenges, never stop studying and never stop inventing new things!
